Cincinnati Dukes sign WR Tyrell Sanders to Training Camp

The Cincinnati Dukes have signed standout wide receiver from University of Mount Union, adding a proven playmaker with championship experience and high-level production.

A 2024 All-OAC Second Team selection, he delivered a breakout senior campaign with 65 receptions for 1,041 yards and six touchdowns, averaging over 16 yards per catch. His ability to stretch the field and create explosive plays made him one of the most productive receivers in the conference.

In 2023, he appeared in 11 games, totaling 27 catches for 429 yards and five touchdowns, including a career-long 72-yard touchdown reception against Wilmington. During the 2022 season, he played in seven games, including the national championship Stagg Bowl, finishing with two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Over his collegiate career, he accumulated:

  • 101 receptions

  • 1,599 receiving yards

  • 14 touchdowns

  • 15.8 yards per reception

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he was a three-sport athlete at Pike High School, earning Team MVP honors twice and showcasing versatility in football, basketball, and track & field.

With a combination of size, production, and big-play ability, he brings immediate impact potential to the Cincinnati Dukes’ offense.
