Final Open Tryout Set for March 21 The Cincinnati Dukes will host their final open tryout of the season on Saturday, March 21, giving talented football players one last opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for a roster spot. The Dukes are looking for serious athletes who are ready to compete and prove they belong on the field. This tryout is designed for players who want the opportunity to display their speed, strength, football IQ, and overall playmaking ability in front of the Dukes coaching staff. The Cincinnati Dukes are bringing in a proven playmaker. Welcome RB / Return Specialist Darnell Williams to the Dukes.  Williams arrives after an electric college career highlighted by big-play speed, elite efficiency, and special teams explosiveness.  Career Highlights• 2,473 rushing yards• 23 rushing touchdowns• 7.8 yards per carry• 35 receptions for 295 yards• 2 receiving touchdowns• 1,268 kickoff return yards• 25 total touchdowns His breakout 2025 season saw him rush for 1,178 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 98.2 yards per game while continuing to impact the game on special teams. In 2024, he earned All-OAC Second Team honors while leading the conference with 760 kickoff return yards and averaging an explosive 29.2 yards per return. Williams is a home-run threat every time he touches the ball — whether it’s in the backfield or on special teams.
